Mr Deguara did an amazing job after an awful experience with the NHS. I had been left on a ward for 8 hours with acute appendicitis and not a doctor in sight. Lucky for me, my husband has private healthcare through work - within 10 mins of being called Mr Deguara had seen me, made an assessment and arranged for me to be moved to a private ward. The operation went very well and I have recovered well and quickly. A big thank you to Mr Deguara and all the staff on the BMI Coombe Ward at Kingston Hospital.

Hernia pop: I was very nervous about the opp. But Mr Deguara took lots of time to explain everything / answer my concerns etc. Due to personal commitments I needed to be treated quickly and Mr Deguara fitted me in and arranged space at the New Victoria even though they short on beds due to building work (which I never heard any noise or inconvenience from) All the staff at the hospital were brilliant, the food is lovely, they will make what you want, when you want and I've eaten in may may 5 Star hotels. The opp: Dr Waddington was my anaesthetist, excellent, also brilliant at putting needles in. My pain was well controlled after the opp although sore as expected after a hernia opp . In the next days / weeks my brushing was the least anyone I know that has had the hernia opp. I can only assume this how good Mr Deguara is also the scare is very very neat and small compared to friends. Also I still have an in tummy button. Overall I don't think the pop could have gone any better or hospital care.

Extremely competent surgeon - the procedure was explained thoroughly beforehand and was completed without any issues whatsoever. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Deguara.
